The senates receives confirmation of nomination for appointment as Governor/ deputy governors of central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)
In accordance with section 10 subsection 3 of the Central bank of Nigeria (establishment) The Senate has on Tuesday 26, September 2023 during the plenary session received the confirmation of the nomination of CBN Governor and Four others. This was disclosed by the President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has nominated the following persons for the appointment of the CBN Governor and deputy governors.
Olayemi Cardoso – Governor
Emem Usoro – Deputy Governor
Muhammad Abdullahi Dattijo- Deputy Governor
Philip Ikeazor. – Deputy Governor
:Bala Bello – Deputy Governor.
