Former All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has declared support for Senator Barau Jibrin for the office of the President of the Senate.
In an interview, Garba stated that the North West senator is the only qualified candidate for the office of the Senate president. He started that the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs a competent teem that will help him carry out an effective and functional government.

“He has made his outstanding contributions among other candidates without a trace of record of corruption cases, most competent, organised with a proven track record of competence,” he said.
He said the government in looking out for national unity in zoning terms, should focus more on competence that will help the development of the nation.
