A clash on 15th August 2023 ensued between the Kano State Road and Traffic Agency (KAROTA) and tricycle riders in Zaria Kano Close, Kofa Nasarawa Bridge, Kano State.
The information available indicates that one of the operatives of KAROTA flagged down an erring tricycle rider, but refused to stop.
The act of disobedience to order triggered the KAROTA official to drag the tricycle till it falls including the passengers therein which left a passenger injured on the shoulder. The scene left commuters stranded for some time.
Meanwhile, the police intervened in the matter and settled the issues while the investigation is ongoing to bring offenders to book.
