Miracle is Still Very Much Alive – As It was reported earlier that The two-month-old boy Miracle who was beaten by his father and had his hand fractured earlier in Imo State has reportedly been confirmed Alive.

It was earlier  reported that a Nigerian man identified as Confidence Amatobi, reportedly broke the two-month-old baby Miracle’s  arm for “disturbing his sleep”.

Unfortunately, due to reports, some medium had lately been carrying rumors across the internet that the baby is dead which is very far from the truth.

Recently speaking to the closest person to the victim, our correspondent recorded that the News of his death which had circulated the internet is fake. In addition to that, a video of the baby was recorded crying.

This Rumor has continued to spread after “A Tweet, Kanu Garba, on Friday evening falsely reported the baby’s death in a tweet, saying, “The two-month-old baby who was beaten by his father for disturbing his sleep died today.

Our correspondent on Thursday 27/10/2022, speaking to Mrs Linda Linson who is the nearest person to the victim expressed bitterness of how the fake news of baby miracle being dead and circulated the internet.

She further add” it’s very sad and unprofessional on how some medium go about carrying fake news without findings or research.

However, the suspect is still at large as there is no report of his arrest yet.

The assault on the little baby which led to the amputation of the fractured arm, attracted condemnation and outrage with the Imo State Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), and the National Human Right Commission (NHRC) calling on the Imo State Government and the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to immediately arrest and prosecute the Father.

But the Nigeria Police said that the they have not received any official complaint.

The Imo State Coordinator NHRC, Mrs Ukachi Ukah, on her part condemned the brutality and insisted that justice must be allowed to take its course.

mother of Miracle, Mrs Favour Chikwe who hails from Idemili Community, Anambra State disclosed that she had left Miracle with his father on Friday, October 7, 2022, to use the convenience, when the incident happened.

She concluded “ it’s a very sad and unfortunate incident and we’re doing our best with the help of some organizations to ensure that justice is served but while we are looking forward to that, the public should kindly be informed that Baby miracle is not dead.
