Niger State Governor Mohammed Bago has briefed President Tinubu on the security situation in his state, saying there are ongoing efforts by the state government to Dialogue with armed bandits in the State.
The governor however says if the option does not work, the government will engage the Military to tackle the challenge.
The Niger state Governor said this when Speaking with State house correspondents after a visit to President Bola Tinubu over the recent bandit attacks in the State, thanking the federal government and armed forces for their intervention.
He says his administration is not unmindful of the security situation in the state and is working closely with security agencies to tackle all threats to the security of lives and property.
