The Confluence University of Science and Technology (CUSTECH), Osara, has announced the commencement of admissions for the 2024/2025 academic session. In a statement issued by the university’s Registrar, Mrs. Olufunke Hudson, the institution is inviting candidates to apply for any of its 50 accredited programmes, spanning eight faculties.
Hudson confirmed that the courses, which have been approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC), are now accessible through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) platform. Prospective students are advised to select CUSTECH as their first-choice institution during the JAMB application process.

“For candidates who initially opted for another institution, there is an option to switch to CUSTECH by making the necessary amendments on the JAMB portal,” Hudson stated. She emphasized that applicants must ensure their chosen programme is aligned with the appropriate Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and O’Level subject combinations. To be eligible for the university’s post-UTME screening, candidates must have a minimum UTME score of 140 and at least five credits in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. Hudson also reminded candidates to upload their O’Level results on the JAMB portal, warning that failure to do so could lead to disqualification.
Direct Entry candidates are required to follow the registration guidelines and ensure they meet all eligibility requirements. The registration process, which involves a fee of ₦2,000, must be completed before the deadline of Friday, October 11, 2024.
CUSTECH’s diverse programme offerings include the Faculty of Science, with courses such as Applied Geophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, and Statistics. Other faculties include Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Computing and Informatics, Management and Social Sciences, the College of Medical Sciences, and Agriculture.
