Agada Appointed Deputy Clerk National Assembly

The National Assembly Service Commission,NASC, has approved the appointment of Agada Rawlings Emmanuel as Acting Deputy Clerk ( Administration) in the House of Representatives.

In the appointment letter dated June 20, 2023,with reference No:NASC/ SS/ PF/ 208, signed by the Executive Chairman of the Commission,. Engineer Ahmed Kadi Amshi, the commission explained that the approval followed the resolution at its 577th held on Monday 19 June and in exercise of its power as provided in section 6 (b) of the National Assembly Service Act 2014

The Commission noted that the appointment is in recognition of Mr. Agada’s hard work and administrative competence and urged him to continue to reciprocate the confidence reposed in him.

Mr. Agada who until the new appointment was the Director Information and Research of the National Assembly, is an alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

An experienced bureaucrat, he has served in the Nigerian and Pan African parliaments in various capacities and attended numerous overseas courses in parliamentary works.

Mr. Agada Rawlings Emmanuel hails from
Ipari-Otukpa, Ogbadibo
Local Government Area of
Benue State.
