ABU Alumni vows to Resist NANS 2022 Election – Ex-Student leaders of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria ABU has vowed to resist the 2022 NANS Convention. The Student leaders claimed it is an attempt to plan a kangaroo election .

This was contained in a press statement signed by the Spokeperson for ABU Zaria, Ex-Students, Comrade Yusuf Moses.

The Ex-Student leaders claimed that they found out that the 2022 National Association of Nigeria Student (NANS) Convention committee and and the electoral Committee is planing a Kangaroo Election that may lead the Apex student body to a total collapse.
The association claimed Comr Tijani Abdulmumini is the most in qualified candidate. They said “ “After due consultation with some of the SUG Presidents from at the Convention we find out that our school candidate, Comrade Tijani AbdulMumini is the most Qualified candidate for the position of NANS President.”
The body claimed Abdulmulmini is said to be a a student of the Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice at the Department of Sociology, ABU Zaria.
Also , he was Chief of Staff to the Ex-while NANS President, Comrade TIJANI USMAN SHEHU and also a Special Adviser (SA) former NANS President, YINKA GBADEBO AYEFELE. Tijani was the former President of National Association of Northern Nigerian Students
The leadership body warned the convention committee against be used to perpetuate the kangaroo plans and imposition of unpopular candidates. Urging to see the position as an opportunity to write their names on the Marble.
